The seminar will take place on Zoom at the following link: https://univ-cotedazur.zoom.us/j/5698369814Short URLNone\nTitle: Computational approaches for the role of heterogeneous and plastic innate immune responses in cancer and related disorders\n \nAbstract : Tumour microenvironment is characterised by heterogeneity at various scales: from various cell populations (immune cells, cancer cells, ...) and various molecules secreted by cells (cytokines, growth factors, …); to phenotype heterogeneity inside the same cell population (e.g., immune cells with different phenotypes and different functions); as well as temporal and spatial heterogeneity of cells and molecules inside the microenvironment. In this talk we present some mathematicaland computational approaches developed over the past few years to investigate various aspects related to the phenotypic heterogeneity and plasticity of immune responses during cancer evolution (and evolution of some fibrotic disorders, e.g., keloids, that have certain characteristics that are similar to cancers). The focus will be on single-scale vs. multi-scale models, and their parameterisation with data (if/when such data is available).\n\nhttps://indico.math.cnrs.fr/event/16002/
