My research focuses on fluid dynamics and magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). I specialize in characterizing subcritical instabilities in planetary or stellar systems, which I address by means of simplified flow models using a range of applied mathematical tools. My main research interests currently deal with subcritical transitions and magnetic field generation in accretion discs or stellar interiors. I am a member of the INRIA team CASTOR (Control of PlAsma inSTability, Optimization and model Reduction) and of the Fluid Dynamics and Numerical Modeling group at Laboratoire J.A. Dieudonné.
Funding is available for PhD students or postdocs to join the ERC project CIRCE.
